The New York Knicks continued rolling through their season after defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 110-88.
This is their third consecutive victory and what makes it even more amazing is that they have all been blowouts and the Knicks have scored 100 points or more in each three.
The closest victory margin has been 16 points to these same Sixers on Sunday when they beat them 100-84.
Today, the Knicks trailed early in the first quarter as the Sixers looked to run away with it in the opening as they led 14-4.
The Knicks picked up the slack and never looked back.
They once again did it with a mixture of defense and offense as they have yet to allow 90 points in the season.
They had seven, that is right, seven players in double digits scoring.
Carmelo Anthony led the way with 21 points on 7-16 shooting. He sank his six free throws and had another block.
Other Knicks in double digits, Ronnie Brewer with 13, Tyson Chandler had 14, Raymond Felton had 16 and eight assists. J.R. Smith added 17, Pablo Prigioni added 11 and the ever popular Rasheed Wallace added 10 points in 13 minutes played.
The Knicks are having fun and have already won two games from the season series against their Atlantic division rivals.
The 76ers are bound to get better as they have Andrew Bynum waiting to become active.
With the way the Knicks are going, they are looking beyond the regular season. The last time the Knicks had a great star like this?
1999, when they won the Easter Conference Finals and faced the Spurs in the NBA Finals.
Their next game is on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks. The Sixers travel south where they will face the New Orleans Hornets.
