The Miami Dolphins have rookie Jay Ajayi on his way back from an injury, as the running back was able to participate in practice and can return to the active roster soon. Miami is coming into Week 7 after a win against the Titans that saw the defense step up and this comes as Rishard Matthews, Jordan Cameron and Jarvis Landry are the best fantasy start options this week for the Dolphins.

The Dolphins have the Houston Texans this week and the team is trying to string together a winning streak after dominating over the Titans in Week 6. The defense played much better than it had for the first month of the season and the team clearly responded to what interim head coach Dan Campbell has been doing. Jarvis Landry said that Campbell has brought energy to the team and Cameron Wake responded well to the new defensive scheme, as he had four sacks and two forced fumbles against the Titans.

The Dolphins offense was much more efficient in Week 6 and running back Lamar Miller had his best game of the season with 113 yards and two catches. The team has Miller, Damien Williams and Jonas Gray on the roster at running back and now they will get Ajayi back soon as well. According to Pro Football Talk, Ajayi has started practicing after being placed on the injured reserve list with designation to return with a rib injury.

Ajayi was taken with a fifth round pick in the draft this year out of Boise State and he slipped a bit after some teams worried about a past knee injury flaring up. Ajayi and his knee held up in camp and the preseason, but the running back suffered a rib injury and that pushed him towards IR. Ajayi had 66 yards on nine carries in the preseason and now he will get the chance to practice before coming back in a couple weeks. Ajayi will have to battle for carries, but adding another option behind Miller gives the Dolphins offense some solid depth at RB.

Campbell and the Dolphins defense played with some fire last week and after a report that the Titans said the team played "too physical," Suh and Campbell said that the team played "hard" and with energy, according to CBS Miami. Suh said that he thinks there can be some carryover into next week and that the defense can "continue to play at a high level" after winning against the Titans.

The Dolphins have the Texans this week and for fantasy owners, Jordan Cameron, Jarvis Landry and Lamar Miller are the best start options for Miami. Landry has been the number one receiver for Ryan Tannehill, while Miller is coming off of his best game of the season. Cameron is a solid TE1 or TE2 option and he comes in with 15 catches for 200 yards this year.
