Oakland Raiders
Latavius Murray (Running Back): The Chargers are the weakest against opposing running backs. San Diego has given up the 2nd most points to running backs in 2015 so Murray looking for a bounce back game may find one in week 7. Murray should be relied heavily upon as the Chargers tend to shut down opposing wide receivers. I would be surprised if Murray didn't have 80 yards and a touchdown.
Amari Cooper/Michael Crabtree (Wide Receivers): San Diego has given up the third fewest fantasy points to wide receivers in the entire league so Cooper and Crabtree will have their work cut out for them. The Chargers have no pass rush so it is possible Carr finds some time to throw a couple of deep shots but the Chargers should shut down all the passing lanes.
San Diego Chargers
Keenan Allen/Stevie Johnson (Wide Receivers): Allen may be one of the only semi healthy receivers on the field Sunday as the Chargers take on the Raiders on Sunday. Johnson practiced on Friday so he could play Sunday but hamstring injuries always need to be monitored up until the game begins.
Ladarius Green/Antonio Gates (Tight End): Oakland has given up the most points to tight ends in fantasy football so Green and Gates should be the main weapons utilized by Rivers. Both of these players are TE 1's this week. It also helps that most of their wide receivers are banged up or dealing with some kind of injury.
Melvin Gordon/Danny Woodhead (Running Backs): Oakland has given up the 9th fewest fantasy points to running backs and that does not look like it will change. With Gordon banged up and benched it is hard to assume he will play productively on Sunday. Woodhead should be a better option as he should dominate in the passing attack.
Phillip Rivers (Quarterback): After a career game in week 6 Rivers will go up against the Raiders who have given up the 15th most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Rivers will likely find some holes against this Raiders defense and the return of Stevie Johnson could help alleviate some the pressure on the Chargers tight ends. Rivers is a solid QB1 start this week.
