The New York Jets and New England Patriots are playing live on the Week 7 NFL schedule and the AFC East fame is from Gillette Stadium and will be on CBS at 1 pm ET. The game has the Pats coming in undefeated and they will be looking to extend their lead in the division with Tom Brady having another great year.
The Jets have been playing well and the team has a strong defense this season and they are confident that they can win over the Patriots. The Jets have allowed the fewest yards and points per game in the league this season and they are going up against one of the best offenses in the league. Chris Ivory has been playing very well and he had over 100 yards last week and the team is averaging the most rushing yards in the league this season.
The Jets will have to watch for Rob Gronkowski and he comes in with 23 catches for 425 yards and five touchdowns this season. Gronk is a dominant player and he will be tough to cover even with the solid Jets defense. The Jets are looking to continue their solid season and getting an upset win over the undefeated Patriots will give the team some momentum. The Patriots come in after a win against the Colts and the team performed well with 312 yards and three touchdowns from Tom Brady.
The Patriots have been putting up yards and points this season and they are scoring at least 28 points per game and averaging over 420 yards per game. Darrelle Revis will be playing against his former team after joining back his original team this offseason and he comes in after winning a Super Bowl last year with the Patriots. The Jets put up over 200 yards rushing last week and the team could get back Stevan Ridley, who would give the team some more depth at running back.
The Patriots will be getting Brandon LaFell back soon and that will give the team even more depth at wide receiver heading forward this season. The team has back to back divisional games with the Dolphins and Redskins coming up and then the team plays against the Giants on the road. Those games are always entertaining with the past Super Bowl matchups and the team later will play against the Broncos, Eagles and Texans.
The Patriots have the Eagles, Texans, Titans, Jets and Dolphins to end the back stretch of the season. The Jets are 4-1 this season and they have gotten off to a solid start and they play on the road against the Raiders next and the the Jaguars and Bills are on the schedule.
