Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Doug Martin/Charles Sims (Running Back): Doug Martin has proven to be reliable for the last 3 weeks as he has emerged as the Buccaneers best running back. Martin racked up 136 yards on 19 carries and caught 3 targets for 35 yards. Sims only received 10 carries for 49 yards and caught 2 out of 3 passes for 17 yards. Martin is a clear cut RB2 at this point.
Mike Evans/Vincent Jackson (Wide Receiver): Evans had a huge day thanks in part to injuries to Vincent Jackson and other wide receivers on the Buccaneers roster. Jackson caught 1 target for 13 yards prior to injuring his knee. Evans on the other hand finally had a breakout game racking up 164 yards and a touchdown, while hauling in 8 out of 12 targets. If Jackson misses significant time Evans should see an increased number of targets.
Washington Redskins
Jordan Reed (Tight End): Jordan Reed was the primary player who helped bring home the W for the Redskins. Reed hauled in 11 out of his 13 targets for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns. Reed had one of the best performances by a tight end in week 7.
Pierre Garcon/Ryan Grant (Wide Receivers): Garcon took a backseat to Grant in this game as he was only able to catch 5 out of 6 targets for 55 yards. Grant hauled in 3 out of 5 targets for 54 yards but also found his way into the end zone.
Alfred Morris/Matt Jones (Running Backs): Morris and Jones struggled from the field as the Redskins running backs a very unproductive when they see the field. Jones had 9 carries for 29 yards and caught 3 out of 4 targets for 22 yards while Morris ended his day with only 6 carries for 5 yards and had 1 catch for 2 yards.
