The NBA season opener schedule continues on Wednesday and teams like the New York Knicks, LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs will start things up for 2015-16. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs are playing the first game of the ESPN doubleheader and the second game has the Lakers and Timberwolves.
The schedule on Wednesday opens up with the Washington Wizards visiting the Orlando Magic and that will start at 7 pm ET. The Philadelphia 76ers tip off against the Boston Celtics at 7:30 pm ET, while the Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets will also tip off at that time from the Barclays Center. The Utah Jazz are visiting the Detroit Pistons, while the Miami Heat start the season against the Charlotte Hornets in South Beach.
The Indiana Pacers have Paul George back and the team is opening the season against the Toronto Raptors up in Canada and that game starts at 7:30 pm ET. The Denver Nuggets and Houston Rockets start at 8 pm ET from Texas, while the Cleveland Cavaliers will play the second of back to back games after losing to the Chicago Bulls against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Knicks open the season on the road and they are visiting the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday and the game starts at 8 pm ET.
The Knicks will have their home opener on Thursday and that will be against the Atlanta Hawks at MSG. The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are playing in OKC and that game will be the first of the ESPN doubleheader on Wednesday and starts at 8 pm ET. The second game of the doubleheader has the Lakers taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves in Los Angeles. The game is on ESPN and starts at 10:30 pm ET and has the number one and two overall picks playing each other in D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns.
The Dallas Mavericks are visiting the Phoenix Suns and that game starts at 10 pm ET, while the New Orleans Pelicans will play for the second time in two nights after losing to the Warriors. The game starts at 10 pm ET at the Moda Center, while the Los Angeles Clippers play against the Sacramento Kings at 10 pm ET to kick of their season.
The Thursday night schedule has three games, including the Memphis Grizzlies and Indiana Pacers at 7 pm ET. The TNT doubleheader will start at 8 pm ET with the Knicks taking on the Hawks for the New York home opener, while the second game has the Mavs and Clips. The Mavericks will visit Los Angeles and the Clippers will have their home opener at the Staples Center and that will be on TNT.
