The 49ers have suffered another loss this time on the offensive side of the ball. With Carlos Hyde ailing the 49ers could not afford to lose another running back.
Reggie Bush reportedly slipped on concrete that was on the outside of the sidelines causing the injury. Bush immediately needed trainers to help him and did not return to the game. On Monday Bush will have an MRI to figure out the scope of the damage on his knee but it is believed to be an ACL tear.
This injury will force the 49ers to find some help on the offensive side of the ball as 4th round pick, running back Mike Davis was also injured. With the 49ers releasing Jarryd Hayne the 49ers a quickly running out of options at running back. Kedall Gaskins has become the only healthy back on that roster which may force the 49ers to look at running backs like Pierre Thomas, Montee Ball, Daryl Richardson, and Steven Jackson.
The 49ers may not be able to gain back the ground they have lost this season forcing the team to be rebuilt from the ground up. Injuries and retirements have hurt this team more than any other so far in the 2015 season.
