Nov 05, 2015 11:35 AM EST

The NFL standings heading into Week 9 has four undefeated teams in the Patriots, Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals and Carolina Panthers and those teams are 7-0 (Bengals now 8-0) as the schedule picks up in November.  Those teams are among the division leaders with the Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals.

UPDATE: The Colts have beaten the Broncos in Week 9. The Patriots, Bengals and Panthers remain undefeated. Check below for the link to the updated standings.

The Patriots are leading the AFC East division once again with a 7-0 record and they are in ahead of the Jets, Bills and Dolphins. The Jets are 4-3 this season and looking to bounce back after a loss to the Raiders, while the Bills are playing the Dolphins this weekend. The Bengals are leading the AFC North over the Steelers, Browns and Ravens, while the Colts are on top in a weak AFC South.

The Colts and Texans are 3-5 this season, while the Jaguars are 2-5 and the Titans are 1-6. The AFC West has the Denver Broncos leading with a 7-0 record, while the Raiders are over .500 at 4-3 and looking to try and stay in the wild card race. The Chiefs come into the week at 3-5, while the Chargers are 2-6 on the season. The Giants are leading the NFC East over the Redskins, Eagles and Cowboys, but they only have a 4-4 record and that division is up for grabs.

The Packers are 6-1 on the season and lead the Vikings, who are 5-2, while the Bears and Lions are at the bottom of the division standings with three combined wins. The Carolina Panthers are 7-0 this season and lead the 6-2 Falcons, while the Saints and Buccaneers are next in the standings. The Cardinals have a 6-2 record and they lead the 4-3 Rams, 4-4 Seahawks and the 2-6 49ers in the division.

According to ESPN.com, the four undefeated teams are the most amount of 7-0 teams to start the season in NFL history. One of these teams could end up winning the Super Bowl if things keep going this way and the Patriots are looking very likely to get back there after winning last season. The Bengals have the look of a contender, but they have not had playoff success, while Denver has a fantastic defense, but they also need Peyton Manning to hold up into the postseason.

The schedule this weekend has some good matchups, including the Packers taking on the Carolina Panthers, while the Eagles and Cowboys are playing on Sunday night football. The Broncos and Peyton Manning face off with the Colts in Indianapolis, while the Monday night game has the Chargers hosting the Bears.
