The NFL injury report heading into Week 9 has some big names, as players like Keenan Allen, John Brown, Brandon Marshall, Karlos Williams, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Le'Veon Bell, Vincent Jackson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Sammy Watkins and Reggie Bush have been banged up and some of those players are now out for the season.

Week 8 saw some notable names go down with serious injuries, including players like Bell, Reggie Bush, Khiry Robinson and Steve Smith. All of those players are out for the rest of the season and now their teams will have to find players to step up into their roles. Keenan Allen is also reportedly done for the season after suffering a kidney injury, while Ryan Fitzpatrick is expected to start despite dealing with a hand injury.

According to the Union Tribune, the Chargers have placed Allen on injured reserve following his injury, meaning the wide receiver is done for the season. Allen had been putting up some great numbers with 67 catches for 725 yards and four touchdowns, but his season was cut short at eight games. The Chargers now will have Steve Johnson and Malcom Floyd as their main wideout options for Philip Rivers, but Allen is expected to be ready for 2016 after having a "non-surgical" procedure.

Karlos Williams is among the players banged up for the Bills and he is expected to be back in Week 9. Williams has been dealing with a concussion and according to Pro Football Talk, Williams was able to practice without any limitations on Wednesday. Percy Harvin also will be out for the Bills. Vincent Jackson was reportedly unable to practice on Wednesday and that could keep him out for another week after missing the game against the Falcons.

The Buccaneers already have Louis Murphy out and now Jackson could be sidelined again with a knee injury. The team is hoping that Austin Seferian-Jenkins can return this week from a shoulder injury, as he has been out since Week 2 for the Bucs.

The Jets have some players banged up, including quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, but head coach Todd Bowles said Fitzpatrick will be the starter against the Jaguars this week. Brandon Marshall sat out with an ankle injury and Eric Decker also sat out with an ankle issue. Marshall is expected to play against the Jags, while Decker also is expected to be in the lineup even if he doesn't practice.

Matt Forte is also out with an injury and while he is not done for the season, ESPN reports that he will miss at least two weeks. Forte has an MCL sprain and that could sideline him for a bit, but the Bears said that the running back will not need surgery. Jeremy Langford is going to be stepping in for Forte and he put up solid numbers last week after Forte went down and he is a good fantasy pickup for the next couple games. The Bears have used Forte quite a bit and that could give Langford the chance to break out.

Le'Veon Bell is out for the season for the Steelers and that makes DeAngelo Williams the starter. Bell reportedly could need six to nine months to recover from his torn MCL, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
