Slippery Rock vs. Michigan Wolverines Live Stream: Watch Free Online in NCAA Men's Basketball Opener at 8:30 p.m. ET

The Big Ten 2012 Champions Michigan Wolverines host the Slippery Rock Rockets in the NCAA Men's Basketball season opener with game time at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Coming into the matchup, the Wolverines are ranked No. 5 in NCAA Men's Basketball. That is their highest seeding since 1993, but at that time they were running college basketball.

They will be led by their sophomore Trey Burke who decided to stay in school rather than going for the NBA draft.

This is one of the breaks coach John Beilein referred to as he was responsible for the success the Wolverines had as they were working their way back to their old winning ways.

"I think anybody building a program has to understand, it is difficult, because people weren't stepping back and saying, 'Hey, let's let Michigan have their turn.' It's hard to get there," Beilein said. "If you establish the culture and get the right breaks here and there, anything can happen."

Their opponents will be a Division II school, no disrespect to the Rockets, but the Wolverines should be able to beat them easily.

Slippery Rock will be led by Devin Taylor who is the team's leading scorer and rebounder.
