San Francisco 49ers running back, Reggie Bush is looking to sue the city of St. Louis, the Owner of the Edward Jones Dome.
The Rams home stadium has their field surrounded by a strip of cement that has been a headache for several players including Cleveland Browns starting quarterback Josh McCown who suffered a shoulder injury after stumbling into a wall after losing his footing on the cement strip. Bush is the second player to suffer a major injury but this time it might be career ending.
Bush is 30 and has gone through plenty of surgeries in his NFL career because he has been incredibly injury prone for most of it. Bush tore his ACL which is a potentially career threating injury and because of this Bush has felt compelled to seek compensation.
Bush will likely claim that the gross negligence of the City of St. Louis to not fix the potentially hazardous conditions that surrounds the football field. Bush may have a case considering he is not the first player to be injured there.
The Rams are attempting to have this problem fixed before their next home game on November 15 against the Chicago Bears. If they cannot change the surface surrounding the field it is likely another injury could occur.
