The Minnesota Timberwolves travel to Chicago where they will face the Chicago Bulls at 8 p.m. ET.
The Bulls will attempt to bounce back from a 97-91 loss to the OKC Thunder on Thursday. Despite being without their leader, Derrick Rose, the Bulls are off to a 3-2 start as players are getting use to life without their star.
"Derrick Rose is an unbelievable player, don't get me wrong. He is Chicago," Kevin Durant said. "But those guys are great complements to him. Once one of your best players is out, guys got to step up and that's what they've been doing ever since he's been out."
So without a doubt, there will be a period of struggle as the Bulls get adjusted to their new roles.
The Timberloves, on the other hand, are thriving without their stars Ricky Rubio and Kevin Love.
They are off to a 4-1 start in 2012 for first place in the Northwest division in the Western Conference.
They are coming off a tight 96-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
