No offense to Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro, but the Roger Federer versus Andy Murray match is going to be the highlight of the entire event as the two are set to square off in the 2012 World Tour Championships semifinals at 2:45 p.m. ET.
This will be the 19th time the two tennis stars have hooked up and believe it or not, Andy Murray comes into the match with the advantage. He has owned Federer, beating him in 10 of their 18 head-to-head matches.
Not many tennis players can say this.
However, Federer always seems to win in the big stage when the spotlight shines brightest.
Coming into this match, Murray has won both of the last time two matches at the semifinals ATP Shanghai Masters and at the 2012 London Olympics finals. for the gold medal.
So far in the ATP World Tour, Federer has won five of the seven sets he has played in and won two of the three matches played at the tournament. Andy Murray is also 2-1 winning five sets, losing three.
