The Cincinnati Bengals are coming into the Monday night game undefeated in Week 10 and fantasy football owners should start both Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard against the Texans. Tyler Eifert and Marvin Jones could be sleeper options for Andy Dalton alongside AJ Green as the Bengals try and improve to 9-0 heading into Week 11.
The Bengals have Jeremy Hill coming in as the starting running back, but Bernard has been getting touches all season and against the Texans fantasy owners should not be afraid to start both players. Hill likely will get more carries, but the Texans defense has given up an average of 29 points per game over the last five weeks, and that could mean both Bernard and Hill have the chance to put up numbers on Monday night.
Over the last three weeks, Hill has had more touches than Bernard and offensive coordinator Hue Jackson said before last week that the "the arrow is pointing up" on Hill and that could mean increased carries on Monday night. Hill comes in after putting up 52 yards on 15 carries in the Week 9 win against the Browns and this season Hill has 344 yards and five touchdowns. Hill has had at least 15 carries in each of the past three weeks and that makes him a worth start pick for fantasy owners in Week 10.
Bernard outrushed Hill last week with 72 yards, but he had fewer carries and this season he is the leading rusher for the Bengals with 511 yards. Bernard only had three touches against the Steelers in Week 8 and he bounced back with a solid game last week and now he could be a solid fantasy option behind Hill for the Bengals. Andy Dalton has played well this season and he is putting up an MVP level performance and he will try and get his team to 9-0 on Monday night.
Dalton has been putting up strong numbers and he comes in after completing 21-of-27 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns last week and he now has 18 TDs and just four picks this season. Dalton is behind Tom Brady in the MVP race, but if the Bengals finish with a better record than the Pats, there is a chance he could win the award. Dalton has had some great chemistry with Tyler Eifert this season and Eifert has shown his importance to the team after missing all but one game last season.
Eifert has nine touchdowns this season in eight games and he comes in after scoring three times last week against the Browns. Dalton likes to look for Eifert and Green in the redzone and against a weak Texans defense he should be targeted quite a bit in Week 10. Marvin Jones has played well over the past few weeks and he has 16 receptions over the last three games and could be a sleeper option on Monday night.
