The Baltimore Ravens were struggling as they entered week 11 however no one could have ever imagined how bad things would get for them by the end of the day. Quarterback Joe Flacco during his game winning drive tore his ACL and possibly MCL.
Flacco will have ample time to heal as the Ravens hope to rebound in 2016. The Ravens have lost Steve Smith (Torn Achilles), Terrell Suggs, (Torn Achilles), and their first round pick Breshad Perriman for the entire season making this one of the most injury riddled seasons in recent memory.
Smith was looking to retire at the end of the season and will likely decide to come back and try to make it through a full season. Perriman was a surprise as the Ravens expected to have two top tier wide receivers available for quarterback Joe Flacco. Instead they had to rely on Steve Smith who suffered a couple of serious injuries throughout the season.
Perriman suffered what seems to be a torn PCL that hindered him throughout his rookie season. Perriman's should heal and return to the team 100 percent next season. Flacco being injured now assures solid recovery time but only time will tell which teammates will be playing with him.
