Oman vs. Japan Live Stream: Watch Free Online as World Cup Qualifiers for Asia

Japan faces Oman in a classical battle at the Asia World Cup Qualifiers which kickoffs at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Dating back to 1997, both clubs have been going head-to-head for World Cup entry. It all started with France 1998 and is still continuing today.

Japan is undefeated against Oman since the rivalry began 15 years ago and it doesn't look to be ending any time soon as Japan continues to roll along in the qualifiers.

They currently hold first place in Group B with three wins, one draw and no losses. Japan defeated Oman 3-0 back in June, blanked Jordan 6-0 a few days later, they tied 1-1 with Australia and then shutout Iraq in September 1-0.

As you can see, the Japanese offense has responded as well as its defense outscoring their Group B opponents 11-1 over the first four games of the qualifiers.

For Oman, a win pushes them in second place as they are tied with Australia with a win, two draws and a loss. Aside from the shutout loss versus Japan, Oman also had a scoreless draw with Australia, a 1-1 draw with Iraq and their one and only victory came in October as they barely escaped with a 2-1 victory over Jordan.

Their defense has done its best, but their offense has faltered as they have only scored three goals while giving up five.

This could be a huge victory for Oman, but of course, the key will be to get past a powerful Japanese team.
