England will be looking to have a strong finish to the year with a road win as they travel to Sweden for an international friendly match on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. ET.
England has had a successful 2012, despite falling to Itlay in the Europen Championships back in June. They've been beaten just once in regular time this year and that was way back in February when they lost 3-2 to Holland in a friendly at Wembley.
England are on top of their qualifying group with eight points, but Montenegro sit one point behind and have the luxury of a game in hand, so thus the expectations to perform well in Stockholm.
Meanwhile, on the home team side Sweden are expected to include several familiar names to British audience, such as Celtic and Blackburn full-backs Mikael Lustig and Martin Olsson, West Brom central-defender Jonas Olsson, Sunderland and Fulham midfielders Sebastian Larsson and Alex Kacaniklic, as well as their attacking spearhead, Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Paris Saint-Germain.
