The Houston Rockets will aim to close out a three-game homestand Wednesday with a win when they take on the New Orleans Hornets at the Toyota Center at 8:00 p.m. ET.
James Harden, who was acquired in a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder a few weeks agoa, has cooled off since his hot start. He averaged 35.3 ppg in his first three appearances with his new team and has dropped off a bit since then, posting just 18.8 ppg in the past four.
In a 113-110 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday, Harden recorded 22 points and Chandler Parsons led the way with a career-high 25 points for Houston.
Meanwhile, the Hornets Anthony Davis will look to be the catalyst to help lead the team to victory tonight.
After missing two contests with a concussion, Davis returned to the court for New Orleans (3-2) against Charlotte on Friday. He had five points late in the second quarter before a brief tussle with Bobcats big man Byron Mullens seemed to light a fire under the rookie.
He finished the game with 23 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks in a 107-99 victory.
