Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton (Quarterback): Cam Newton had a rougher game than it appeared as Carolina's defense definitely inflated the score a bit. Newton finished this contest completing 16 out of 27 passing attempts for 183 yards and 12 rushes for 45 yards and a touchdown.
Jonathan Stewart (Running Back): Stewart really got nothing going on the ground against the Cowboys. On 21 attempts he only gained 68 yards and caught 3 of his 4 targets for 9 yards.
Greg Olsen (Tight End): Olsen was also kept in check by Byron Jones who notably held Rob Gronkowski to 60 yards receiving. Olsen hauled in 5 of his 9 targets for 70 yards.
Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant (Wide Receivers): Bryant really couldn't get anything going as he still did not look healthy enough to be as big of a playmaker as he has been in the past. Bryant only caught 2 out of 8 targets for 26 yards.
Darren McFadden (Running Backs): McFadden had a better game through the air than he did on the ground. McFadden only had 10 carries that gained 11 yards. It was his ability to convert a 2 point conversion as well as hauling in 4 out of 6 targets for 45 yards that made him a tolerable flex option.
Jason Witten (Tight End): Witten was barely targeted in the matchup as he has seen a light dusting of targets for most of the year. Witten caught 4 out of 6 targets for 36 yards.
Tony Romo (Quarterback): Romo owners if you started him I am sorry. Romo actually managed to have negative points this week after coming back entirely too early from a broken left clavicle. Not only did Romo throw 3 picks and only gained 100 yards through the air he fractured his left clavicle again ending his fantasy season, bad day all around.
