The Penn State Nittany Lions take on the Indiana Hoosiers as they will hook up for their Big Ten matchup at 12 p.m. ET.
Despite all the drama over the summer, the Nittany Lions are playing great football. They have a 6-4 record and are ranked in the Top 100 in all major statistics.
They are 39th in passing averaging almost 270 yards per game. They have a decent running game averaging just over 140 yards a game. They score an average of 28 points per game for 69th in the FBS and their average is the 20th best as they give up just under 19 points per game.
They haven't been able to win consistently after taking five straight games in consecutive fashion at the beginning of the season.
They lost to 16th ranked Nebraska last week 32-23.
Penn State will go head-to-head with a struggling Hoosiers team that is 4-6. They started out the 2012 campaign winning their first two games, but then dropped five straight games.
Indiana then won against Illinois and Iowa, but then dropped last week's game against Wisconsin as they were routed 62-14.
Indian has a potent passing game that averages almost 295 passing yards, the 26th most in the FBS and this has led them to scoring just over 31 points a game good for 44th in the FBS, but they give up 32 points per game, which has led to their struggles.
