The Washington Huskies became bowl eligible by winning last week and the team will look to continue its winning ways when they travel to Colorado on Saturday.

The Huskies dominated against Utah last Saturday, winning 34-15 to earn their sixth win of the season and become bowl eligible.

Washington has won three games in a row and finally busted out of a season-long offensive funk in last week's victory, becoming "the last team from a BCS conference to score more than 21 points against an FBS opponent."

The offense has struggled for most of the season, but came alive against Utah by gaining over 400 total yards. Quarterback Keith Price threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Bishop Sankey rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

If the 25th ranked Huskies can win their next two games against Colorado and Washington State, the team will earn "its first 8-win season since going 8-4 in 2001," according to the Associated Press.

"We really can't control it. It's somewhat out of our hands. What we can control is how we play Saturday and the way we prepare for this Saturday," Sarkisian said on Monday to the Associated Press. "Sometimes you can get caught looking at the what ifs and the what might be and miss what is right in front of you and that's the obvious, and the obvious is we need to go to Colorado and take what we have done the last few weeks as a football team of getting better and continue to build on that."

Price has struggled for most of the season, throwing for over 200 yards in only four games and turning the ball over 10 times.

"I just think from a mental standpoint he is healthy. He's back to Keith Price as I know him which is fun to be around," Sarkisian said. "And he's in the game, he's picking up the defense, he's right there on the sidelines, being a part of the game, an integral part of the game, and not just when he's at quarterback but when we are on defense and special teams, he is exuding a tremendous amount of confidence and leadership and in the end I think our team feeds off of him."

The offense has been propelled by Sankey, who "became just the 10th different running back to top 1,000 yards in Washington's history" after his game against Utah, according to the Associated Press. Sankey has 1,011 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season, ranking 27th in the country.

Colorado has been one of the most disappointing teams in the Pac-12 and hasn't won a game since September. The team beat Washington State 35-34, but has lost "six straight games by at least 25 points," according to the Associated Press.

The team has been awful on defense this season, giving up 50 points five different times, including in a 70-14 loss at Oregon on Oct. 27. The team ranks in the bottom of the Pac-12 in yards and is giving up 47 points per game.

Junior quarterback Jordan Webb has struggled most of the season, passing or only 1,401 yards and eight touchdowns with eight interceptions. The offensive line has been unable to protect the quarterback this season, giving up 34 sacks.

The Buffaloes played three straight ranked opponents before last Saturday's loss against Arizona, combining to score 20 points against USC, Oregon and Stanford. Against the Cardinal on Nov. 3, Colorado was shut out 48-0 and gained only 76 yards on offense.

Colorado has yet to win a game at home this season and have only scored 30 points twice, including in their lone win at Washington State.

According to the Associated Press, "Washington rolled past the Buffaloes 52-24 last year, with Price throwing for 257 yards and four touchdowns."
