The Oakland Raiders will host the New Orleans Saints for their Week 11 NFL matchup at 1 p.m. ET
The Raiders will take on a red hot New Orleans team that has played well as of late.
Actually, playing well is an exaggeration, they have done a lot of scoring and they have given a lot of points, but when you try to slug it out against one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, chances are he will trump you.
Drew Brees is nearing 3,000 yards as he leads all quarterbacks in the NFL with 2,847 and is tied for first with Aaron Rodgers with 25 TD passes.
And to think there was any question the Saints would resign this valuable piece to their franchise.
They will take on a Raiders team that, though optimism is always necessary when playing sports and rooting for a team, is simply done for the season.
The AFC will likely go in the direction of the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts and a team from the AFC North look like the ones who will be taking the AFC Wild Card.
Carson Palmer has played well, but the team does not have the necessary pieces to win in the regular season. Darren McFadden is out meaning if the Saints could stop the run, then they can force Palmer to the air and focus more on bulstering their pass defense.
