The Philadelphia Eagles travel to Washington D.C. to take on the Redskins as two NFC East rivals go head-to-head at 1 p.m. ET.
Could there be two new eras for both of these teams?
Robert Griffin III has been named a captain for the Redskins. There is no doubt he is the team's anchor as they would live and die depending on how he performs.
Ironically, his aggressiveness has done the team well, but knocked him out of a game after suffering a mild concussion. RGIII quickly found out he had to be on the field for his team to win and make smarter decisions.
Though they have an explosive offense, the Redskins come into this game 3-6 tied for last place in the NFC East with the lowly Eagles.
Andy Reid was sticking to Michael Vick until his starting quarterback could no longer take any abuse and suffered a concussion.
Now it is time for Nick Foles to step up and prove he is a worthy contender for the starting job in Philly. Though that's not the best place to QB with all the holes in the offensive live, Foles has a chance to further impress people and possible become a formidable answer to the Eagles' woes.
Though this battle features two teams at the pit of their division, it should be an exciting game.
2012 rookie QB's. NFC East rivals. A chance to keep their seasons alive.
