NFL Fantasy Football Top Matchups (Playoff Edition): Running Back, Lamar Miller, Doug Martin, Todd Gurley, David Johnson

David Johnson (Arizona Cardinals) at Philadelphia Eagles: Johnson has had a great run as the lead back in Arizona. He has back to back 120 total yard games and is facing a defense that has allowed the 10th most fantasy points to running backs. He also has back to back 90 plus yard games so he should be in the driver's seat as the Cardinals attempt to control the clock.

Lamar Miller (Miami Dolphins) at San Diego Chargers: Miller is up against a defense that allows the 5th most fantasy points to running backs. Miller is looking like he will have a heavy workload as he has been absolutely dominant in recent weeks. This Chargers defense allows 126.5 yards per game to running backs and Miller is looking to eclipse 1,000 yards on the season.

Doug Martin (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) at St. Louis Rams: The Rams have given up the 9th most fantasy points to running backs without Robert Quinn in the lineup. Martin has been on a roll recording 2 touchdowns in the last two weeks and has 273 yards in total from his last 3 games. Martin has more than 80 yards in his last 3 games as well so he should be in line to get a lot of work and considering neither of these teams are offensive powerhouses this should be a slugfest on the ground.

Todd Gurley (St. Louis Rams) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gurley had 2 touchdowns last week and over 140 yards. Gurley caught fire at the right time; the Buccaneers give up the 8th fewest fantasy points to the running back position however Gurley is not your ordinary running back. I would ride the hot hand as the Rams have nothing else on offense that they can do.
