NFL's Week 11 Monday Night Football matchup will feature the San Francisco 49ers and the Chicago Bears doing battle at 8:20 pm ET.
The biggest storyline of this game is perhaps the health and play of both opposing quarterbacks.
49ers quarterback Alex Smith sustained a concussion in Week 10, but is on pace to play. However, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffered a concussion and has already been ruled out by Chicago's medical staff. This means Jason Campbell will be the likely starter.
With the 49ers defense being inconsistent at times, their offense has much improved. Smith Smith is finding his targets with regularity, and Frank Gore continues to rack up yards running.
Gore is on pace for 1,300 yards this season and will undoubtedly look to add in this game coming off a less than spectacular performance against the St. Louis Rams.
But like the 49ers, the Bears also have a stellar running back in Matt Forte that they will look to lean on in Cutler's absence.
The Bears defense has also carried the team with a positive differential of 14, good for the top of the league. They've got 19 interceptions and 11 forced fumbles, both of which are league highs. Charles Tillman has the bulk of those forced fumbles, and he's been playing excellent football all season.
