NFL Week 16 Fantasy Football Preview (Championship Edition): Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Doug Martin, Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffery, Matt Forte

Chicago Bears

Matt Forte (Running Back):  Tampa Bay is great against the run and this could make things very difficult for Forte. The Bucs allow just under 100 rushing yards per game so since Forte will likely be splitting carries with Jeremy Langford he faces limited fantasy production. Forte is at most a low end flex play this week.

Alshon Jeffery (Wide Receiver): Alshon has a fantastic matchup this week as he faces a defense that has given up the 10th most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. The Bucs have allowed 20 touchdown receptions through the air so Jeffery could be in for a monster game. Jeffery has not been practicing this week thanks to a hamstring injury however he should be active for this game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans (Wide Receiver): Chicago is extremely stingy against wide receivers as they rank in a top ten rank in stopping wide receivers from putting up fantasy points. Evans had a big game last week but could be in for some tough sledding in week 16. He has seen a very sporadic amount of targets making him very hard to gauge but you could do worse for a WR3 this week.

Doug Martin (Running Back): Chicago has given up a solid amount of fantasy points to running backs this season however the matchup is not incredible. Martin has been knocking on the door of a 100 yard rushing game for the last 4 weeks so he is a capable at piling up yards. Martin has two touchdowns in the last 3 weeks so he will be a legitimate RB2 heading into the fantasy championships.
