The North Carolina Tar Heels continue to breeze through the competition as they are 4-0 at the start of their 2012-2013 season. Tonight, they face the 2-1 Butler Bulldogs of the Atlantic 10.
Butler will look to slow down the UNC group that hs completely blown out the competition through the first week of and a half of the season.
UNC defeated WEBB in the first game 76-59, FAU 80-56, LBSU 78-63 and most recently Mississippi State Bulldogs 95-49.
As you can see, they have defeated their opponents by double digit margins and their defense has been excellent holding opponents to less than 65 points in all of their meetings.
For the Butler Bulldogs, the lost to Xavier last week 62-47 following a defeat of the Elon Phoenix. Yesterday, they fought hard to beat Marquette as Rotnei Clarke hit a three pointer to seal the deal in Lahaina. They beat Marquette by one point, 72-71.
Khyle Marshall had 24 points, nine rebounds, one assists, two steals and a block to fill up his stat sheet. Clarke, who hit the game winner, had 20 points and six rebounds.
Butler will have to do a great job keeping the Tar Heels from the board. They are second in the rankings averaging 51.5 points per game. Also, they do a great job sharing the ball as they average 19 dimes per game.
