The Brooklyn Nets will get their first look at All-Star Dwight Howard, since the "Dwightmare" trade saga over the summer, Tuesday at 10:30 pm ET.
The former Orlando Magic center, and current Los Angeles Lakers center, expressed high interest in playing with the Nets and even demanded a trade to the team before the move to Brooklyn.
However, Howard's decision to waive his right to become a free agent last March all but killed those dreams.
Howard's desire to keep everybody happy landed him with the Lakers and not with his first choice the Brooklyn Nets.
Howard now joins a starting Lakers lineup with the likes of Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant, Metta World Peace and Pau Gasol.
The Nets, however, retooled over the summer as well, retaining Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries and Gerald Wallace while adding Joe Johnson, CJ Watson and Andray Blatche.
So far the Nets have been one of the best teams in the league with a 6-2 record, second in the East to their rival New York Knicks.
