The Washington Redskins meet the Dallas Cowboys as both teams will play in Texas at 4:25 p.m. ET.
This game is big as is since both teams featured are from the NFC East. Make the matchup take place on Thanksgiving and it automatically boosts its importance doubles. People everywhere will be watching as it will be the only game taking place at the time.
Raising the stakes a little bit more is the fact that both teams are just a game from each other.
The Cowboys are currently sitting on second place in the NFC East with a 5-5 record. Lose today and they would tie the currently 4-6 Redskins who are in third place thanks to a struggling Philadelphia Eagles' team.
With a win, the Cowboys would place themselves in the position to tie for first place as the New York Giants are only 6-4 and play the dangerous Green Bay Packers on Sunday night.
Following their loss to the Giants and Falcons, the Cowboys bounced back to defeat the Eagles and came back to defeat the Cleveland Browns this past Sunday to get back to the .500 mark.
Tony Romo has picked up the slack and the team is now in business.
They will have the task of slowing down one of this year's most explosive rookies in Robert Griffin III. He's thrown for over 2,000 yards and has 12 touchdowns through the air. He also has six touchdowns on the ground and over 600 yards rushing.
