The Philadelphia Eagles are going through a rebuilding process as the dust settles from Chip Kelly's departure.
Kelly had the Eagles roster tailored to his specifications so one can only assume the Eagles will make some drastic changes because of Kelly's unusual choices. There will be 21 free agents the Eagles will have to make decisions on and each of them could have a pivotal role in how the Eagles rebuild this roster. Sam Bradford is heading into free agency and the Eagles are likely on the fence about resigning their starting quarterback.
Bradford had a good season but not one worth a hefty contract especially coming from a franchise that needs to build up its roster with a new regime.
The Eagles cannot pick up a top quarterback selection in the draft as they will be picking 13th so unless a trade happens the Eagles will likely resign Bradford to an extension if the quarterback wants to stay. Bradford has reportedly disliked his experience so far in Philadelphia, if that reins true the Eagles could be in for a rude awaking if he decides to leave.
If another team makes an offer larger than what the Eagles are willing to pay it is likely he will seek greener pastures forcing the Eagles to take a chance on a quarterback in a week free agent market. Walter Thurmond III will also be a free agent and he is currently the Eagles leader in interceptions.
