The Miami Dolphins had a pretty awful 2015 season as they didn't have a chance to compete in the AFC East.
The Dolphins however did beat the New England Patriots in week 17 which caused a bit of a stir since they did it by 10 points. The offensive line has let down the Dolphins all year long however they looked the best they have all season in week 17.
Now as the offseason approaches the Dolphins will need to fill a ton of needs at several positions. First off they need a new cornerback, badly. Brent Grimes is 33 years old and cannot be counted on as a true number 1 corner.
This means the Dolphins can either attempt to pick up free agent corners such as Sean Smith, Josh Norman, Morris Claiborne, Prince Amukamara, or Janoris Jenkins to fill their void in the defensive backfield. The Dolphins could also draft one of the top corners with the number 7th overall pick. With Ramsey, Hargreaves III, or Alexander which would give them a top corner for years to come. Another need to bolster this offensive line at both guard and offensive tackle; the Dolphins will have their choice between, Cody Whitehair, Ronnie Stanley, Laremy Tunsil, Taylor Decker, and Jack Conklin in the first round.
The Dolphins could also pick up some O line depth in free agency as Russell Okung, Alex Boone, Evan Mathis, and Andre Smith should all be available. There is only 1 real first round inside linebacker and that is Reggie Ragland and the 7th spot might be the best place to grab him but if he goes earlier or the Dolphins pass they could always sign free agents like Derrick Johnson, Rolando McClain, or Danny Trevathan. The Dolphins will have a lot of work to do if they want to be more competitive than they were in 2015.
