Man City hosted Everton and played to a scores draw at Etihad Stadium, while Southampton won 2-0 over Watford on the schedule. Sunderland won big 4-0 against Swansea City, while Tottenham lost to Leicester City 1-0 in the late match.
Stoke City won 3-1 against Norwich City and the results on Tuesday saw Man United and Newcastle play to a 3-3 draw. The other matches on Tuesday saw West Ham win 3-1 against Bournemouth, while Aston Villa won 1-0 against Crystal Palace. The league standings have Watford, Everton, Southampton, West Brom and Chelsea behind Liverpool, while Norwich, Bournemouth and Swansea are next in the standings. Sunderland, Newcastle and Aston Villa are the bottom teams in the standings.
The schedule for Saturday has Tottenham against Sunderland, while Newcastle will play West Ham and Chelsea will host Everton at Stamford Bridge. Manchester City takes on Crystal Palace at home, while Bournemouth faces off against Norwich City. Southampton and West Brom play on the schedule, while Aston Villa and Leicester will be the late match.
