Saying this one is for all the marbles is an exaggeration, but it is a very pivotal game as the Atlanta Falcons fly south to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 1 p.m ET for their Sunday Week 12 matchup. We have the live stream available, but let's break this matchup down first.
The Falcons are 9-1 and have the best record in the NFC. The Buccaneers are 6-4 and in second place right behind the Falcons in the NFC South.
The Bucs are on absolute fire and that could be an understatement. They are winners of four straight and five out of their last six.
They come into this match ranked 4th in the NFL in points scored, but their pass defense might make them look bad if they don't adjust their game as they are allowing the most aerial yards per game in the NFL. On average, the Bucs are giving up 312 passing yards per game.
You better believe Matt Ryan and the Falcons are aware of this. With Roddy White and Julio Jones as their 1-2 punch and the veteran Tony Gonzalez hauling down receptions, the Falcons will exploit this Bucs weakness.
The Falcons can't run the ball as that is their worst offensive statistic averaging less than 90 yards per game on the ground. While throwing close to 293 yards per game over the air.
The Bucs can stop the run, but that is obviously not the Falcons day-to-day game plan.
Though the Falcons would love to continue steam rolling their way through the competition, the Bucs need this game more. At 6-4 they are tied for the last Wild Card spot in the NFC with the Minnesota Vikings and the Seattle Seahawks.
The Bucs crushed the Vikings, so they own that tiebreaker, but the Seahawks have been playing well as of late and they face the Miami Dolphin, a game they could win easily.
