The NBA injury report has updates for players like Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Anthony Davis, Blake Griffin, Al Jefferson and Pau Gasol heading into the weekend schedule.

The Knicks have Anthony and Porzingis banged up heading into Saturday and ESPN New York reports that the two are questionable to play against the Grizzlies. Blake Griffin and Bradley Beal have been making progress as they come back from injuries and they could return to their teams within the next week or two. Anthony Davis has been dealing with a back injury, while Pau Gasol has shoulder and Achilles injuries.

The Knicks announced that Anthony is dealing with an ankle injury and is questionable to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday. Anthony rolled his ankle against the Celtics earlier in the week and while x-rays were negative, the team may be cautious with Anthony as he tries to come back after missing Wednesday. Anthony was limited in practice for the team on Friday and his status is up in the air for Saturday. Porzingis is dealing with a shoulder injury and he could sit on Saturday as a precaution for the Knicks.

Blake Griffin is dealing with a quad injury and he said to the media this week that he expects to be back for the Clippers during their next road trip. Griffin could play on Thursday against the Cavaliers if he misses out on the next two home games against the Kings and Rockets. Kobe Bryant was able to play against the Warriors after being listed as a game time decision with an Achilles injury. Bryant reportedly was set to get some rest, but was able to play 27 minutes against Golden State.

The Bulls are hopeful that Pau Gasol can return Friday after missing out against the 76ers on Thursday night. Davis was able to return for the Pelicans against the Kings on Wednesday with 24 points and 10 rebounds after sitting out with a back injury. Derrick Rose did not play against the 76ers on Thursday while dealing with a knee sprain. Al Jefferson had arthroscopic surgery at the end of December and his return is slated for some time around the beginning of February.
