The Jacksonville Jaguars have given Gus Bradley a one-year contract extension. It is not to surprising if you consider what Bradley has done with this offense.
The Jaguars used to be the laughing stock of the NFL now fantasy players and fans are clamoring to follow their playmakers. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns have been tremendous finds for this young team. When you add future stars like TJ Yeldon, Julius Thomas, or Telvin Smith it just adds to the excitement of what is going on down in Jacksonville.
Bradley will have to find coaches who can help fix this defense and get them to stop blowing leads late in games.
Bradley is 12-36 in his first 3 seasons but it appears the pieces are finally coming together for the Jaguars. The Jaguars first round pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL in his first NFL practice so the defense could not get the new playmaker Bradley and the rest of Jacksonville's coaching staff desired.
This season however Bradley will get his shot at redemption and with a wide open AFC South the Jaguars have put themselves in a position to be successful in the future. The Jaguars also promoted Mark Ellenz to college scouting, Daniel Bullocks as the assistant defensive backs coach, Aaron Whitecotton as the assistant defensive line coach and Tony Sorrentino as the assistant wide receivers coach.
