The Australian Open has Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwanska, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer into the semifinals after the players advanced on Tuesday. Williams won against Maria Sharapova to move on, while Federer and Djokovic will face off after taking down Tomas Berdych and Kei Nishikori.
Williams won over Sharapova for the 18th straight time, advancing after putting up a 6-4 6-1 victory at Melbourne Park. Williams is now into the semis as she tries to win her 22nd career Grand Slam. Williams advanced in straight sets and now will play against fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska. Federer and Djokovic advanced to set up a semifinal matchup, with Federer taking down Tomas Berdych 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 6-4.
Djokovic had an easy time with Nishikori, advancing 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 to set up the showdown with Federer. Djokovic only had 28 unforced errors in the match and the Serbian had no trouble breaking Nishikori on his serve. Now Djokovic and Federer will match up for the 45th time and this one will be to see who makes it into the finals of the Australian Open.
