The Philadelphia Eagles recently expressed an interest into finding a "legit" quarterback.
The Eagles seem prepared to settle for Sam Bradford (even though he knows he may end up costing them an arm and a leg) however they would not be opposed to drafting a quality starter in the 2016 NFL Draft.
The draft itself is full of a handful of solid quarterback prospects with a ton of potential. The Eagles will have the 13th pick in the draft so the possibility of grabbing a number of quarterbacks will still be there.
Of course the golden boy in this draft Jared Goff will likely be gone, but the Eagles may be able to get their hands on Paxton Lynch, Connor Cook, or Carson Wentz which would surely make for an interesting situation in Philadelphia.
The words "legit quarterback" typically implies a solid system/ players that help him excel at the things he does well. The Eagles do not have this as of yet, in fact I doubt they actually know who will definitely be on their team in 2016.
With a new head coach, and most likely, a ton of new players, the Eagles may be better off having a veteran come in for a year while Doug Pederson clears away Chip Kelly's excess baggage. That way the Eagles can focus on more pressing needs than just who will be under center.
