It is being reported that police were called to investigate an incident at Johnny Manziel's apartment in Fort Worth, Texas earlier Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the quarterback's home to investigate a possible assault that took place on the property. Police spoke to a 23 year old woman after they arrived who was not in the domicile however she did say she was involved in an incident with her ex-boyfriend in Dallas earlier that evening. The woman was reportedly uncooperative with investigators on the scene after a crime scene was not able to be located.
The police prepared a report which stated that it was possible an assault had occurred. Police officers did not arrest Manziel however the woman in question reportedly was worried for his well-being. Officers determined Manziel was safe and in no danger at the time.
Police are only in the preliminary stages of this investigation and more information should be available later on in the week. For a couple of months it has been rumored that Johnny Manziel would be headed to Dallas after his NFL career took a nosedive with the Cleveland Browns. This incident all but puts an end to that speculation for now as Manziel cannot simply seem to stay out of his way.
