Fantasy Football 2012: Tom Brady, Matt Schuab and RB Trent Richardson Will Break Out in Week 13, Doug Martin Sleeper Against the Denver Broncos

As the fantasy football season enters Week 13, playoff spots are on the line.

Teams that have had successful seasons may have clinched playoff spots, but still are looking for that first round bye. Other teams are fighting just to make it to the playoffs at all and a win is essential this week.

Here are some players who are poised to breakout big that could help fantasy teams soar this week.

Scoring is based on a Yahoo fantasy league with one point per reception, one point for every 30 passing yards, one point for 10 rushing yards, one point for 10 receiving yards and six points per touchdown.

Quarterbacks

Matt Schuab, Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans

Schuab has been one of the most consistent fantasy quarterbacks this year and has a very favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Tennessee is giving up the seventh-most fantasy points to quarterbacks and Schuab was stellar last week against the Detroit Lions, throwing for 315 yards and a touchdown in Houston's 34-31-overtime win.

Two weeks ago Schuab passed for 527 yards and has thrown at least one passing touchdown in each of the past five games. He is ranked ninth in quarterback rating in the league and has earned double digit fantasy points in three out of the past four weeks.

After a subpar game against the Chicago Bears, Schuab posted 43 fantasy points on Thanksgiving and should have at least a 20-point day against a weak Titans secondary.

Tom Brady, New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots have been a scoring machine this season and quarterback Tom Brady has been the driver.

Even without tight end Rob Gronkowski, Brady is poised to have a big day against a mediocre Miami defense that is giving up the 15th-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. The Dolphins are ranked in the bottom half of the league in passing defense and will give Brady chances to throw.

With weapons like Wes Welker, Stevan Ridley, Brandon Lloyd and tight end Aaron Hernandez, who recently returned from injury, Brady will have a lot of options to go to.

In Thursday's 49-19 blow out against the New York Jets, Brady threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns and has posted at least two passing touchdowns in six-straight games. The Patriots have won five games in a row and has passed for at least 236 yards in every game this year.

Brady is ranked in the top-five in nearly all fantasy leagues this year and has earned at least 18 fantasy points in seven of the past eight games. He posted a season-high 32.27 points last week and is protected for a big game on Sunday.

Running Backs

Arian Foster, Houston Texans vs. Tennessee Titans

Foster is the top-ranked running back in fantasy football this season and he has another favorable matchup on Sunday against the Titans.

Tennessee is ranked in the bottom half of the league in rush defense and has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs. Foster has rushed for 1,064 yards this season with 12 touchdowns and has posted double-digit fantasy points in very game this season.

Last week on Thanksgiving, Foster rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's 34-31-overtime win and racked up a season-high 28.20 fantasy points. Foster has hit over 20 fantasy points in three of the past five games and is projected for 22 against Tennessee.

Trent Richardson, Cleveland Browns vs. Oakland Raiders

Richardson has been one of the best rookie running back this season and is poised for a big game against a defense that gives up the third-most fantasy points to running backs.

Richardson has rushed for 755 yards and six touchdowns this season and has also been a threat out of the backfield, catching 41 balls for 316 yards and one touchdown. Last week against the Steelers he had 85 rushing yards and one touchdown and posted 20.30 fantasy points.

In the past four weeks he has posted at least 18 fantasy points in each game and has had at least 20 points in two of the last four. Apart from a two game stretch in the middle of the season, Richardson has gained at double digits in eight of ten games.

Other players poised for big games in Week 13:

QB: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

RB: Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Denver Broncos

WR: A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals vs. San Diego Chargers
