Manchester City and Leicester City go head-to-head in a weekend clash of two of the Premier League's top teams. Leicester currently hold a three point lead at the top of the leaderboard while Manchester City continue to surprise people with their run to the top. Now the two teams finally meet in a highly anticipated matched as the leaderboard begins to heat up heading down the stretch of the season.

Leicester are coming off a convincing 2-0 win against Liverpool in the middle of the week. They still have 13 games left to play following Saturday's matchup with 39 points left to claim. That lessens the importance of this match against Manchester City, but a win is a win. Leicester look like real contenders for the title while Manchester City continue to remain at the top. Manuel Pellegrini is trying to downplay the hype around the meeting.

"There are still a lot of points," Pellegrini said, via ESPNFC.com. "You cannot think because you win you are the champions. If you lose you still have a lot of things to fight for between now and the end of the season. I think Leicester started playing very well last season. They won seven of their last nine games. They started playing with high confidence, knowing what they can do. This season, maybe at the beginning it was a surprise, but now it is not a surprise."

If Leicester can get a win in this game, they solidify their spot as the best team in the league and the real contenders to win the title. The face a weakened Manchester City team. Jesus Navas was lost for the game following a hamstring injury that is expected to leave him out for the next three weeks. The captain Vincent Kompany is also out with a calf injury. He has been deemed not fit enough to play leaving the team without a few of their playmakers which could hurt them in this game.

Meanwhile, Leicester is trying to downplay the idea that they are favorites to win it all. The team did sign Daniel Amartey who was not available for the game against Liverpool and has yet to be guaranteed a spot in this match. The team is still trying to determine his fitness level. Leicester is in a good spot with injuries as Matty James and Jeff Schlupp represent the only players injured right now. That will put them ahead in this game as Claudio Ranieri is trying to keep his team focused.

"I hope we don't feel the pressure because it's the first time we have been here," Ranieri said.
