Green Bay Packers cornerback Casey Hayward will test free agency as he looks for his second NFL contract.
At only 26 Hayward would like to be with a franchise that he could not only develop with but compete for a NFL title. Hayward did not record an interception in all of 2015 and did start 11 games however he is a youthful defensive back and that should get him far. In 2015 he only recorded 65 combined tackles and 7 pass defenses. The former 2nd round pick has a total of 168 combined tackles, 35 pass defenses, 9 interceptions, 1 defensive touchdown, and a forced fumble.
Hayward's deal will most likely not break the bank so there should be plenty of teams interested in the young defensive back.
The teams who currently plan to look for a cornerback in the draft or free agency currently include the Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Oakland Raiders, Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and the Carolina Panthers.
As far as who is the most likely to pick up Hayward's services, he would be a decent fit in Los Angeles or Pittsburgh so expect him to see some interest in free agency.
