Napoli and PSV will have nothing much to play for in their Europa League game, but both teams will be keen to end the group stages on a high.
Napoli, who have 9 points from five matches, have already qualified for the knockout rounds and cannot do better than second place, with Dnipro already assuring themselves top spot.
PSV will be playing for pride, and will be desperate to avoid the embarrassment of finishing bottom of their group.
"We are Napoli and have an image and a prestige to defend, especially on the international stage," Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri said. "Who I will send on field tomorrow (Thursday) will give the best because these matches are used for visibility in Europe.
"And then are matches that give precise directions both to me and club about players and who is at first experiences at these levels. I expect a very good response from all.
"Despite some criticism today I can say that the choices we have made have given us reason. We have qualified in the Europa League and in the League we have twelve points more than last year. This means that the team is growing and that the club have adopted the right moves so far.
"I see the growth day by day and on field because I see in guys serenity and greater awareness than ever before. Now we can face this match with the certainty of the step of round already acquired but also with the desire to demonstrate in front of our audience to always give the best.
"Do not think Inter on Sunday, but let's think exclusively to tomorrow's match. Our philosophy is to concentrate match after match."
Mazzarri revealed he would play some of his first team regulars with Edinson Cavani set for a run out against PSV. "Cavani asked me to play and I will let him play at least for part of the match," he said. "He has a different physicality that benefits from the use on field.
"For the rest Pandev will be on bench. The regular players will be: Rosati, Uvini, Fernandez, Campagnaro, Maggio, Dzemaili, Donadel, Dossena, El Kaddouri, Vargas and Cavani."
