The Denver Broncos defeated the Oakland Raiders 26-13 in their Thursday Night Football matchup and continue to make a bid for one of the top spots in the AFC.
Peyton Manning finished with 300 yards, two touchdowns and an interception as the Broncos put the Raiders away little by little throughout the game.
Manning reached a numerous milestones in this one completing his 5,000th pass in this game, throwing for his 70th career 300-plus yard game, it was his 7th season with 30 plus TD passes and 12th season with 10 wins or more.
When comparing stats, you would expect the Broncos to have scored way more points. However, the Raiders defense made a couple of consecutive stops down inside the 10 forcing the Broncos to connect on field goals.
The game broke open in the third quarter when the Broncos recovered a fumble down at the Raiders' own two-yard line.
Moreno rushed in for the touchdown and made the game 23-7.
The Broncos needed four field goals to help them out in this one, despite dominating the stat sheet.
At one point, as the Raiders were closing the first half as Palmer was completing everything that left from his hand.
They got a score to close out the quarter and went into the half down 13-7.
The Broncos improve to 10-3. Meanwhile the Raiders are now the complete opposite at 3-10.
The Broncos play the tough Baltimore Ravens and the Raiders host the Kansas City Chiefs.
