Harry Redknapp will have a third go at picking up Queens Park Rangers' first win of the English Premier League campaign, when they travel to Wigan.
QPR are rock bottom on six points from 15 matches, while Wigan have struggled a little of late, and are only two points above the relegation zone.
"My entire focus is -- all day, all night -- is on QPR," Redknapp said at his pre-match press conference. "If we can beat Wigan tomorrow (Saturday) then our season could take off.
"We need to focus on our football and be as fit as we can be for this run of games. We just need to focus on winning football matches.The players have been very good in training. There's been a strong intensity about the sessions. That's what we need to get out of this."
QPR have no new injury worries, with goalkeeper Julio Cesar the only one doubtful.
Wigan are hit by injuries and suspensions to their center-backs with four of them ruled out of the game against QPR. Martinez said he has not quite decided whether to go back to a flat back-four or stick to the three central defenders, with two wingbacks.
The Latics are without the injured Antolin Alcaraz, Ivan Ramis and the suspended Maynor Figueroa and Gary Caldwell.
"We have got real tactical flexibility in the squad, and we are able to adapt into different formations," Martinez said.
"Of course we wish the players who are missing were playing. But the focus has to be on the ones who are able to play and desperate to do a job for the team."
