With just three team separating Roma and Fiorentina, both side will be desperate not to give their opponents the edge in their Italian Serie A game Saturday.
Fiorentina are currently three points and two ahead of Roma in fourth, with just six points separating the team from Florence and league leaders Juventus.
Roma can go even on points with Fiorentina with a win, and Roma manager Zdenek Zeman is keen to take home all three points from their own stadium.
"The match against Fiorentina is a game against a side who are performing very well, just like us," he said. "They have a similar approach and have had similar results. I hope it's a good game of football. La Viola play good stuff, they attack, they take the game to their opponents, and are the surprise package this term just like Catania last season, who albeit played a different system.
"Fiorentina are a team which has scored of goals from set-pieces and they create a lot of chances. They work on that and they can cause a lot of problems from set-plays. Am I worried about their wide players? We're used to playing against two wide men.
"I hope we can contain them and hit them on the break. Their two full-backs get forward a lot. Cuadrado in particular has a great engine and is having a good season."
Zeman refused to put too much emphasis on the game on Saturday. "As I always say, tomorrow's (Saturday's) match is not crucial," he added. "I believe all our games are important, but of course obviously you're happy when you beat a top side or one that's considered such.
"But it's no different from taking three points off Pescara or Juventus, it's a win like any other. Obviously winning breeds confidence and the desire to push on. When you lose you have things to work on, so you can improve what went wrong."
