After all the madness he caused over the summer in terms of trade rumors, Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard revealed where he intends to sign when he becomes a free agent this summer, but he's just not telling.
Howard learned his lesson from summer and has decided to save that information until the times comes for him to make a decision. He doesn't want to go through all the backlash he's already been through, when it can easily be avoided.
According to T.J Simers of the L.A. Times, when Howard was asked if this means a future in L.A., despite questions on whether he and Kobe Bryant can coexist, he questioned why not?
"Why can't we coexist?" he asks. "Because we're opposites? I thought opposites attract.
"You know why we can play well together? Kobe knows how hard I work and that I'm all about championships. We're also entertainers, and for the two hours and 20 minutes that people come to a game they want to be entertained."
He says he wants to give Laker fans his best basketball, which he explains they haven't seen yet since undergoing back surgery last spring.
So far this season he's only been known as the guy who can't make free throws, although he's capable of hitting 90 out of 100 in practice. He says he knows the problem is his own head.
He's working on the mental aspect of basketball, he's trying to become more focused. In fact he has a mirror in his bathroom dedicated to reminding him of his lifelong, as well as season-long, goals.
