Everton will look to stop the Chelsea juggernaut when the two teams face off in their English Premier League game at Goodison Park.

Chelsea have gotten better and better under Rafa Benitez and now look like outside title contenders, especially with Manchester City dropping points off late. The Blues are fourth on 35 points, seven behind champions City, with two games in hand.

Everton, on the other hand, will be out to prove their own top-four credentials with a win over Chelsea.

Benitez said he was looking forward to going back to Liverpool, where his family still resides. "Moyes is doing a great job, they have good players and team spirit and it will be a tough game for us," he said. "They are doing well at the top of the table and fighting against teams with more resources.

"Obviously it is something special when you go to Liverpool. My connection with the city is very strong. I have lived in many places, Liverpool was fantastic, and my family understand I have to move around.

"The children are in school so have to stay there but I am really pleased in Cobham also. When you have children, who have their friends around, it is difficult to move the family around.

"Football in England is something special. Everybody has passion all around the country. Every game is important and you enjoy football."

Everton manager David Moyes believes Benitez has had a positive influence on the side ever since taking over. "Rafa's doing a very good job," Moyes said. "He has inherited a really good team, with some very good players and you would expect them to win games.

"It's a great club -- they are European Champions. You have always got a chance to win games when you have the players they have got. I don't think it's any surprise that they are winning games."

Darron Gibson is doubtful for the game, while Seamus Coleman could make a return. Marouane Fellaini serves the final of his three-match suspension, while Kevin Mirallas and Tony Hibbert are definitely ruled out through injury.

Ramires is expected to return to the squad for Chelsea after missing the previous match, but John Terry is not likely to feature.
