The Washington Redskins are the winners of the NFC East after defeating the Dallas Cowboys 28-18 in the last NFL game of the 2012 season.
Alfred Morris had a special game going for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Robert Griffin III scored the other touchdown on the ground. He finished the night with 63 rushing yards and 100 passing.
This game was a typical Redskins victory. Griffin III was barely able to get anything over the air.
The Redskins seemed to have put this one away early in the fourth quarter as Morris ran it in for a 32-yard touchdown. However, Tony Romo roared back and put together a quick drive after returnman Dwayne Harris brought one back deep into Redskins territory.
Romo went 16 yards in three plays and 45 seconds for the score and hit Kevin Ogletree with a 10-yard touchdown pass.
This stat might look impressive, but in reality, as usual when playing a big game, Romo had a forgettable night.
Romo went for 218 yards throwing for two touchdowns and three interceptions. He had two of them in the first quarter and then threw one late in the game that led to a touchdown to seal it for the Redskins.
Up ahead for RG3 and his guys, the dangerous Seattle Seahawks who have obliterated the competition in recent weeks.
It will be ne matchup to watch as two NFL rookies take their teams to the field on Sunday as they attempt to lead their teams further in the playoffs.
