Stanford went 11-2 in the season and wrapped up their season on a seven-game winning streak. The two games they dropped came against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Washington Huskies.
They are led by Josh Nunes in the air and Stepfan Taylor on the ground. Nunes has thrown for 1,643 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. Taylor has 12 rushing touchdowns with 1,442 rushing yards.
They are an average team that won't wow you on offense, but they will probably have a good time stopping the Wisconsin offense as they allow the 13th least fewest points (17.5) in the FBS.
Wisconsin has a sick running game that averaged almost 240 yards per game and averaged just under 31 points per game. Their defense isn't half bad either allowing just 19 points per game for 19th in the FBS.
Montee Ball rushed for 1,730 yards and scored 21 touchdowns. Accompanying him in the backfield is James White who has rushed for 802 yards and 12 touchdowns.
One thing the Badgers would like to do in this game is keep it within regulation. Three of their losses during the regular season came in overtime. The dropped games to Penn State, Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Spartans in OT.
The Badgers will come hobbling into this matchup losing three of their last five games.
