With the English Premier League taking a break after a cluster of fixtures over the festive period, it is time for the FA Cup to take center-stage with the third round throwing up plenty of intriguing clashes.
Over the weekend, 32 fixtures will be played, including one on Monday night, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool looking to overthrow champions Chelsea, while the likes of Cheltenham Town and Mansfield Town look to make the fairytale run that makes the FA Cup so loved.
Here is a look at some of the fixtures of the weekend, while below you will find all the 32 matches scheduled.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Coventry City at White Hart Lane: There used to be a time when Coventry at Spurs would have been a Premier League game. However, now the Sky Blues are in League One, and face an uphill battle to get back to the Championship.
Spurs are on a good run of form at the moment, and while there are likely to be some changes, Coventry will need to be at their absolute best to pull off anything.
Prediction: 4-1 to Spurs
Manchester City vs Watford at Etihad: City received publicity they could have lived without, after Mario Balotelli was photographed having a tussle with manager Roberto Mancini. The Italian striker was expected to be involved in the third round game, but now his future is further up in the air.
Watford, currently in sixth in the championship, are capable of pulling off an upset on their day. With City likely to have other matters on the back of their minds, time might be ripe for an upset, or Watford might just feel City's wrath.
Prediction: 3-1 to City
Southampton vs Chelsea at St Mary's: This all-Premier League clash can go either way, with Chelsea still reeling from that shock 1-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers, while Southampton were impressive against Arsenal.
Chelsea, however, are the title holders, and have a brilliant record in the FA Cup.
Prediction: 2-0 to Chelsea
West Ham vs Manchester United at Upton Park: Sam Allardyce's teams can never be counted out in knockout tournaments. Solid in defense and capable of nicking a goal here and there, United will have to be on full alert if they are to progress beyond the third round.
Robin Van Persie, United's difference maker this season, is likely to be rested, meaning the impetus will be on Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez, who is in good form, to score the goals.
Prediction: 1-0 to United
Swansea City vs Arsenal at Liberty Stadium: The last time the two teams faced each other, Swansea ran out 2-0 winners at the Emirates, thanks to two late goals from Michu, arguably the best signing of the season.
Arsene Wenger was left bemused while feeling the wrath of the press as well as the supporters following the defeat. Arsenal have in patches, shown what they are capable of after that defeat, but still lack the consistency to seriously challenge for honors.
Prediction: 3-2 to Arsenal
Mansfield Town vs Liverpool: This fixture is what the FA Cup is all about. The giants of the English game against a team not even in League Two; Mansfield are currently in Conference National.
Brendan Rodgers will know any complacency could be disastrous against a Mansfield side with nothing to lose and everything to gain. The match will also likely see the debut of Daniel Sturridge.
Prediction: 3-0 to Liverpool
